Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Amboras, Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on amboras.com. It supplements Section 10 of our Privacy Policy. Where consent is required, we set non-essential cookies only after you have given it.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website, together with equivalent browser-storage technologies. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep you signed in, and to help site owners understand how their site is used.

2. Cookies We Use on amboras.com

We use a small number of first-party cookies and equivalent technologies strictly to operate the service:

2.1 Authentication Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

These keep you signed in and protect against session hijacking. They are essential; the site will not function without them, and they are set without requiring consent.

2.2 Consent-State Cookies

These remember the choices you make in our cookie banner so we do not have to ask again on every visit.

2.3 Product-Analytics Cookies (PostHog)

We use a first-party PostHog cookie to measure product usage and diagnose issues. It is set only after you consent where consent is required. See Section 4 for details.

3. No Advertising Cookies on amboras.com

As of the last-updated date above, we do not run the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, the Google Ads pixel, Google Analytics, or any equivalent advertising tracker on amboras.com, and we do not build audiences or run retargeting against our own visitors. If we add any such tool in the future, we will update this policy and re-collect consent where required.

4. Product Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog to understand how visitors navigate the product and to debug issues, collecting page views, feature clicks, and session identifiers. PostHog is configured with IP anonymization and a short retention window, and acts as our processor under a written data-processing agreement. We do not use PostHog for cross-site behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies on Merchant Storefronts

Storefronts operated by merchants on the Amboras platform (as opposed to amboras.com itself) may set their own cookies and, where a merchant configures them, their own advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel or Google Ads tracking. For those storefronts the merchant is the data controller, and this Cookie Policy does not apply. Please consult the relevant merchant's privacy and cookie policy for their disclosures and opt-out options.

6. How to Manage Cookies

Consent Banner

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner when you first visit amboras.com, and you can change your choice at any time. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not prevent the product from working; it only reduces our ability to diagnose issues you hit and improve the experience.

Browser Settings

Most browsers let you control or clear cookies through their settings, or indicate when a cookie is being set. Note that clearing strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and may affect core functionality.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable US state law. Because the browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) header has no common industry meaning, we do not respond to it separately.

8. Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date.
